From HP and Dre, it’s basically the new HP Envy with a beats by Dre logo on it, but I’d still buy one.

Kodak Zi8

When the Kodak Zi6 came out it was a real disapointment for me because I went through a whole bunch of them and had dead pixels. Then the Zx1 with it’s water proof abillities. Now the Kodak Zi8 is releasing this September with it’s first 1080p pocket camera. Now with image stabilization, which all pocket cameras have been lacking and severly needed. I think with the 3rd generation pocket cam I might give this one a try. I’ll let everyone know how that goes this September.

Bike from Terminator Salvation NOW REAL?!?!?

That’s right now the bike from Terminator Salvation is a reality and her name if Flossie.

Scariest thing is that it also learns.

Sony Webbie HD

Here’s that Sony Webbie HD, it’s supposed to be 1080p but the resolution is 1440×1080 not quite but close. Releases in April.

Looks like it’s gonna be head to head with Kodak, unless Creative and Flip come up with something new. But knowning them they will.

Kodak ZX1

Kodak keeps pumping them out with the pocket sized “flip” cameras. As we all know I had trouble with the last camera but I’m feeling pretty hopeful with this one.  Aparently it’s good in low light, also water resistant. Priced at $149 cheaper than it’s older brother at $179. Comes out in April along side the Sony Webbie HD which records in 1080p. We’ll just wait to wait and see which one is better.

Kodak Zi6 Booourns

For Christmas I got this new pocket video camera. Used it for a while and it was pretty good until I noticed the dead pixel. It had one right on the left side of the screen you could see it in darker videos I made. I returned it and got another hoping it was only a fluke. Guess what?! It had it and not to mention basically in the same spot. So this Zi6 is going back to Best Buy. Maybe I’ll invest in a Flip Mino HD? Creative Vado HD?

Seems like I return alot of tech stuff eh.

Working PS3 Day as Well as Hulk Day!

Today I picked up the brand new 80GB PS3 and I will say no problems with it. Not like the 60GB I picked up a few weeks ago. I decided to get it since Hulk came out today and I really wanted to watch it and see the alternate opening of the movie. Of course I had to get it in Blu Ray. This newest version of the PS3 came with the Dual Shock 3 controller which was a nice plus but no card reader slots, but that’s okay.

Update: PS3 Day

Remember those problems with the PS3? Well we thought we solved them but theeeeyy’rree baaaack! Turns out the good luck I had after I plugged it in the wall didn’t last too long. After watchin Iron Man I went to download some demos and then play them. Guess what happened when I tried to play them? IT SHUT DOWN! AGAIN! and after more testing the same. I even did a full format which I didn’t think would help. I was right. So yeah I’m pretty much fed up and I emailed Sony. If they don’t get back to me then I’m calling them right up. More on my story as it continues….

PS3 Day!

Well I said I was working on getting a blu ray player and today I got it in PS3 form. But what a pain it was to setup. I picked it up and got it home around 1 and now it’s about 5:40 and my parents are enjoying my work, watching the Iron Man BD. First I had it running on component cables and I got the home screen running in HD but the games were running in SD. Then BD wouldn’t work and neither would games. It would keep shutting down. I tried it in SD with the composite cables and everything worked. Wtf eh. After a few hours and an HDMI cable later. At points during the setup I thought maybe the hard drive was going on it. I was this close to going out and buying a new hard drive for it. This is how I set it up and got it to work. It’s hooked in through HDMI and the power adapter is plugged straight into the wall. So I guess that biggest problem of all was my crappy power bar! Oh well it’s working now and that’s all that matters. It’s now living safely now between the Sharp Aquos and the Harmon Kardon receiver.

Sony Ericsson X1 Release Date

 

I found at Expansys Canada they are going to carry the x1 Unlocked. As soon as they come out with it. It’s mine! As it’s set right now it’s release is week 41 (October 6 – 12) It’s supposed to cost about $1100. Out in the next week? Sweeet! Maybe I’ll wait about a month or so to get it, maybe the price will drop like it did with the iPhone. Glad I picked up my iPhone after the price drop. But I’ll be glad to replace my iPhone with this sweet X1.  Everyone and they’re grandma is rockin the iPhone now since it dropped in Canada.
