Still in Stores!

Best Buy and Future Shop, My Theory

As you know Best Buy and Future Shop are owned by the same company. I always throught how do you have the same exact store and still make money? My guess is like how Coke and Pepsi is. They are owned by the same company and use each other’s existence as a rival therefore bringing up each other’s sales. Just like Coke and Pepsi they are basically exactly the same except for some colour schemes. Another thing is that I have noticed with these two electronic super stores is that when one thing is on sale at Future Shop it is not at Best Buy and vice versa. When one place has a sale on something, it is grossly over priced at the other store even more so that usual. I use both stores as comparison when I do shopping for Blu Rays and such. Many items are like this if you don’t believe me check out something and see for yourself. For me I just go to whatever store has the cheaper price so in this instance they are not creating competition for themselves but just keeping two separate businesses open. Maybe there’s something I’m not thinking of that keeps both stores open. Hey Future Shop and Best Buy, why don’t you two get a room and be Best Shop or Future Buy already!? On the other hand you don’t see me complaining for Coksi or Poke.
